Description

Morris Traveller Estate.

01.09.1967.

RGW 406F (original number from new).

93,750 miles recorded, believed genuine and backed up with many old MOT certificates held on file.

A beautiful, sympathetically restored car, still finished in its original colour scheme of Taupe with red trim.

Restored several years ago.

DVLA V5 shows 3 former keepers.

The history file contains:

The original bill of sale by Stewart and Arden of Catford, London.

The original Stewart and Arden document folder containing the original green logbook, and a letter confirming expected delivery date of the car, dated 22.08.1967 at £650, 17 shillings and threepence.

Last owner, a retired doctor, has had the car for 6 years.

Last service carried out by a retired AA engineer March 2022 at 93.569 miles.

Little used in the last ownership and only for sale as it wasn’t getting enough use.

Always garaged and never allowed to get wet.

There is a large history folder with the car which also includes, workshop manual, a useful parts identification manual, original type owner’s manual etc.

The car still presents very well indeed, bodywork is straight and excellent, still wearing its original steel wings, paintwork is also very good, still has a lovely finish and shine.

Stainless steel original hubcaps on original wheels, although now fitted with 145x14 radial tyres for modern road use.

All locks function correctly, chrome still good as is all the glass.

Believed to be the original engine.

The red vinyl interior trim and carpets, headlining etc are all 100% as is the dashboard.

It starts on the button every time and really does run and drive with nothing untoward, and the gearbox synchromesh’s are perfect both changing up and down the gears, heater.

Engine bay is still very tidy and free from any obvious oil leaks etc.

Overall, it is a car that feels like it has been carefully looked after and well restored in the past.  The underside is solid and treated.

A great useable, British classic, ready for immediate use with no known works required and priced realistically.
